Odia girl miss Rhea Resham Bari has been crowned the first runner-up at the World Supermodel India 2016 pageant. The grand finale was held on Saturday February 13 in ‘Take It Easy’ Lounge in Andheri, Mumbai with National Director Sudha Subramanian & Yogesh Aggarwal- Chairman Yellow Umbrella Services Pvt Ltd,Biju Krishnan and Ankit Modi from TGPC — with Kewal Ruparel, Mansi Kadian, Nisha Rajput, Sudha Subramanian Aggarwal, Yogesh Aggarwal, Shaik Moin Uddin, Sangeetha Sangi, Sangeetha Sangi S and Rameshwari Padal at Take It Easy.The winner-Marilyn Bothello will compete at the World pageant slated to take place in South Africa on 21st March 2016.Top 5 World Supermodel India Finalists were Rameshwari , Marilyn ( winner) ,Rhea ( runners up) ,Sneha Jagiasi with Top 3 Teen Supermodel Finalists Sayali Simpi , Sangeeta ( runner up) , Mansi Kadian ( winner in teen Category).
Rhea originally belongs to Kerajenga village in Ishwar Nagar panchayat under Pallahara block in Angul.
The Odia beauty has completed her schooling from Loyola School, Bhubaneswar and is currently a second year student of performing arts in Christ University, Bengaluru.
Her father Ramrai Bari is a banker and mother Babita Bari a housewife. They are settled in Sambalpur.
The 20-year-old Rhea Resham Bari has been in modeling profession for the last three years. She has participated in many modeling programs, including Bengaluru’s main Model Hunt Show 2015 and the Campus Diva 2016.
About her success she has commented on social media that,”I wanted to let you all know that I have won the title of First Runner Up and a subtitle ‘Face of the Pageant’ at World Supermodel India Pageant 2016.A lot of people are sharing this victory with me, but the one person without whom all of this would not be possible is my mentor Ritika Ramtri. Her immense support and faith in me kept me going through out my journey of training with her and my contest.
